Please suggest a bed frame that's sturdy and silent.?
September 5, 2010, 12:40 pmWe've had enough with our bed creaking and swaying and migrating around the room. We want to buy a new bed frame and want one that is silent and very very very sturdy (and can take a lot of abuse). We love the look of several wooden ones at Restoration Hardware but fear they will creak. Anyone own one of these beds or another bed that can give us some advice? What is the sturdiest and quietest bed frame out there? Hoping that all you young (and not so young) lovers, newlyweds and people coping with the agony of thin walled apartment buildings will help us with this most important of purchases. We don't want to alienate the rest of the condo board or endure smirks by the mailbox. -

Changing toddler from crib to day bed?
September 4, 2010, 10:32 amI have one of those 3 in one cribs (that converts from a crib, then you take the front off and it goes to a day bed, then eventually a full size bed) I just converted it from a crib to a day bed for my 21 month old daughter. She was ready. She hated the crib and constantly got her leg stuck in the slats. Tonight is the first night she's in it and I put her in her room, closed the door, and said goodnight. Now she is at her door knocking saying "mommy" "daddy" constantly. What should I do? Keep going back in and putting her in bed and saying "goodnight" Did anyone have this issue? How long did it take before you child stayed in the bed and went to sleep? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! -

Why are the sizes for toddler bedding fitted sheets bigger than crib fitted sheets if the mattress size is the?
August 26, 2010, 12:09 amMy daughter has a crib that converts to a toddler day bed and then to a full size bed. She is 15 months old and is still in her crib. I am trying to find new bedding for her and don't know if I need to get toddler or crib bedding. I want to get toddler bedding because it is cheaper, but the sizes are different for each of them. Any suggestions on what to do?
